Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin in the year 1966. She was born into an affluent family. Doody is the youngest of three siblings. She was a nun in a convent and developed an obsession with artwork. After a couple of years her return to the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin. However, in the absence of enthusiasm, she decided to take some time off and gave it ten months. When she was with her friends in a restaurant an artist approached her and inquired if she would like to model. The model agreed because she could make use of the cash for pocket cash. She soon found modeling exciting and lucrative. She could travel around the globe for her commercial business after securing modeling contracts. A casting director was impressed by her modeling talent and advised her to pursue acting. When she was 19, she was referred to London, where she won an audition for A View to a Kill ( 1985) an upcoming James Bond movie. The acting was her love which led her to make a profession of an actor. Her first movie was followed by two more of TV dramas filmed in London as well as Dublin. Then, her breakthrough came in 1989 as she was cast as in the role of Aryan Seductress, Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
